One XFrame 88 is used to control the routing from the sources to the zones. The sources include: background music sources, Live DJ, and Live Band inputs. The zone outputs include: Outside sidewalk, Outside Tiki Bar, inside bar, resturant seating inside, and the indoor dance floor.
The unique feature about this installation is that the owners were looking for a simple to operate system that would allow the bands they hire daily to come in and plug into the system with ease. Once plugged in, they wanted the band to be able to flip a switch when they are ready to play and have the background music fade out rather than abruptly being cut off. As it was installed, the system crossfades when the switch is triggered to enable the band to play only to the zone in the Tiki bar and not to the inside resturant zones.
