PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The MediaMatrix® Q-Host ™ Paging System Controller is stand-alone paging control and management host. An integration of software and hardware, the Q-Host is designed for Ethernet connectivity with MediaMatrix audio systems. The Q-Host features a stable, efficient QNX operating system to perform a variety of paging management, configuration and control functionality. The system supports thousands of paging configurations, accessible from the PCU Series paging stations. The Q-Host software supports live paging or dynamic “store & forward” messaging, full zone routing, priority management and sequenced announcement paging. Support for third-party data systems such as FIDS, MUFIDS and ADA compliant signage systems is available. In addition, provisions for pre-announce tones and other sound enhancements are included. Other features include zone status control and zone priority management. Audio transport is via CobraNet and full MWare and NWare support is provided.
